Dum vivimus, vivamus.

Let us live while we live. Orton: Life of Doddridge

Special care of special loved ones.
My life past and gone. I spent many years running Bad Sector. It has passed away. History of Citadel can be found here.

Yeah, this is my favourite new website. I've got fantasies of driving up sides of mountains and repelling off of clifftops with my beautiful babe doing her nails while sitting on the hood of my canary yellow Defender 110. The thought of being able to drive ANYWHERE gives me a tingle in my palms.

Actually, driving has always had a certain allure for me. Another all time favourite is the Mini Cooper. It's hard to believe, but this vehicle has been in production for greater than 30 years! Click on her Bib Overalls to check out some wacky MINI sites.

Since a Mini is more in my price range and might actually fit in my garage, I am seriously interested in purchasing a late 60s' or late 80s' model. (either vintage or roadworthy). If you know of a Mini in Minnesota that's for sale, let me know.

Some of my favourite bands
I'm not embarrassed to say it. I love whiners who cop sounds and styles from the Beatles and the Beach Boys. To name a few, XTC and Jellyfish. Here is another nice XTC site that can be found on the far (or near) side of the Atlantic. Never one to stray far from the English/Jangly/Pop vein, Robyn Hitchcock is another of my favourites. I once did stray from the Jangly side. I took a gig doing sound for a drunk band at a defunct bar called Duffys. Since that fateful night, and the ensuing months that followed, the 'Mats have always remained dear to my heart. Seattle can brag all they want about the grunge scene. It started here with Loud Fast Rules, Husker Du and The Replacements.
Current Recommendations
At first I wasn't too excited about The Grays , but after a few listenings to the sometimes subtle, sometimes strong XTC/Beatles and Todd Rundgren influences, I was hooked. Next on my shelf of happiness, Jellyfish. the band I currently live for. What is so great about these guys is the mastery of production and writing that combine into songs that make you want to get your old Queen records out. It's all here, flavors from a palette of Queen, Beatles, XTC, Supertramp, Doobie Brothers, Todd. The list goes on. Unfortunately, as seemingly happens with all good things, this band has called it quits. If you're interested in the current happenings of some of the members of Jellyfish, visit the Jellyfish Tales page. Lastly, Jack Logan may not be for all, but if you are like me and have a sneaking suspicion that a meteor fell near Athens Georgia you should check out Jack Logans' Bulk.
Other oddbits of entertainment

The next step on the Ultima path. This is a online game that allows you to play with other users across the Internet. This game is HIGHLY addicting. Stay away. Once again, if you like dungeons, combat with monsters, adventure and puzzle solving, this game is for you.
